Sherry completed the 2016 winter-to-spring season of Walk & Run 101, our beginner walk/run program. Here, she tells us how committing to finishing that first 5K has changed her life.
The Walk & Run 101 program and Coach Lisa gave me the courage to start RUNNING! I knew that I wanted to try running, but always had thoughts of, “Can I do this?” and “Am I a runner?” and, more importantly, “How do I start?” This program showed me that not only were there so many others just like me, but we all had what it took to CRUSH our own goals!
