The Nationwide Children's Hospital Columbus Marathon is coming up over the weekend of October 18-19. In anticipation, join us this September 25th for a free run and walk to support the marathon's mission towards Nationwide Children's Hospital and the Mile Champions who will be lining the race course this fall.
WHAT
A free social run and walk from Goodale Park's shelter house. Experience the latest shoes from ASICS, enter our raffle, meet with Kathleen Frein, PT, DPT, a physical therapist from Nationwide Children's to discuss your training, and get inspired by Hannah, one of this year's Mile Champions!
WHEN
- Thursday, September 25 with the Short North Running Club
- Arrive as early as 6pm to try on ASICS demo shoes for your run or walk
- Run & walk begins at 6:45pm

The Mile Champions
24 patients treated at Nationwide Children’s Hospital are selected to line each mile of the Columbus Marathon, share their story, and inspire others. There is also one Remembrance Mile to honor those who are no longer with us and one Encore Mile where we recognize every patient who has lined the course in the past. Together, they represent the more than 1.9 million patient visits to Nationwide Children's Hospital every year.
