About the Grasshoppers
The ASICS Grasshoppers is a youth running club hosted by the Columbus Running Company. With four distinct seasons for the kids to take part in, it's our goal to expose the next generation to the love of running.
Since 2012, the Grasshoppers program has been helping central Ohio kids to fall in love with the sport of running. Just select a season below for more info and to register today.

SUMMER RUNNING

- Open to Kids Going Into Grades 3-6
- Experience Levels: All
SUMMER NEXT LEVEL
- June-July
- 1 Location
- Open to Kids Going Into Grades 7-8
- Experience Levels: All
FALL CROSS COUNTRY
- August-October
- 1 Location
- Open to Kids in Grades 3-6
- Experience Level: Must be capable of running 2 miles on day 1
SPRING ROAD + TRACK
- March-June
- 1 Location
- Open to Kids in Grades 3-6
- Experience Level: Must be capable of running 2 miles on day 1
What to Expect:
Great Perks
Each season, your child will receive coaching, comped race entries, a singlet and bag, a CRC digital gift card, a season completion medal, and more.
Dedicated Coaches
The Grasshoppers is led by a team of dedicated coaches with a long-standing love of running. They're here to guide our kids into a lifelong love of our sport.
Fun-Filled Races
For many of the kids, our races are the highlight of the season. These range from fall XC meets to summer road races and spring track meets.
A Lifelong Sport
Since our first season in 2012, we've watched Grasshopper alums go on to run track and XC in middle school, high school, and even college. We've cheered as alums have run the Columbus 10K, the Columbus Marathon, and so much more.
Our goal is to spark a lifelong love for running in each of these kids. We hope your family can join us this season!
